  This was a beautiful visit. The plant life is very interesting with different indentifiers for plants with predominantly medicinal or culinary uses. You're given a route map on entry that it is your choice to follow but I recommend you do! This route will allow you to see all the plant and displays and has some secret little viewpoints out of the gardens aswell with beautiful views! Just be aware of the steep uphill at the start! (however you can take the elevator up and do the route in reverse)

  The museum-room to the left of the receptionist is enlightening. Use the elevator to reach lovely views of the city.

  Definitely worth visiting. The garden map costs only 50 cents and it contains a lot of interesting information about the plants. They make no use of pesticides or fertilizers there. Very nice and sustainable project to recover an area that was used as a garbage dump until 1983.

  Magnificent, specially because this botanic garden has been planted where before it was attended for refuse dump of Santa Cruz. It is amazing how this plants has grow through this years. Incredible to see many species of palm tree. Very well done. A must to see!

  A collection of palm trees of any kind. If you like gardening and plants this is the place to go. Enjoy the overview of palm trees on our planet
